 a and curated by Terrence Sanders-Smith\, the Saratoga Collection was pr
 eviously housed in the Saratoga Building located at 212 Loyola Ave in Ne
 w Orleans and features works created by artists living and working in th
 e city in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The works in the
  collection are reflective of contemporary trends in art of the time and
  show some insight into the significance of this historic disaster on th
 e art and culture of the city of New Orleans.  Member opening reception
