SUMMARY:City Park Players presents "Noises Off"
DESCRIPTION:Noises Off\nSeptember 14-24\n&nbsp\;\n\nCity Park Players is
thrilled to bring Noises Off\, by Michael Frayn\, to Hearn Stage this y
ear. Directed by Jared Guillory\, Noises Off opens September 14 and fea
 tures:  Jill Dupont\, Brayden Smith\, Mark Weinzettle\, Jacob Parker\,
Madeline Grant\, Halli Watson\, Steven Byone\, Mia Huffman\, and Nick Bl
ackstone.\n\nABOUT THE PLAY: Noises Off takes a fond look at the follies
  of actors\, whose susceptibility to out-of-control egos\, memory loss\,
and passionate affairs turn every performance into a high-risk adventur
 e. This play-within-a-play captures a touring theatre troupe’s product
ion in three stages: dress rehearsal\, the opening performance\, and per
formance. Brimming with slapstick comedy\, Noises Off is a delightful ba
ckstage farce\, complete with slamming doors\, falling trousers\, and fl
ying sardines!\n\nIf you have never experienced theater as an actor or a
crew member\, then perhaps Noises Off is simply an entertaining show wi
th a lot of laughs. However\, for those who “tread the boards\,” Noi
ses Off might very well be the funniest play ever written.\n\nNoises Off
  performances continue September 14-24 - Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:30pm\
; Sundays at 2:30pm on Hearn Stage in Downtown Alexandria.  Tickets ra
nge from $5-15\, and are on sale now at cpptheatre.com and will be avail
able 30 minutes before each performance in the lobby of Kress Theatre.
