For April, our Author and Artist of the month is Frances Boudreaux.  Frances currently serves as board chair for Glass Act Recycling, is an active member of the Alexandria, LA Garden Club, is a practicing artist, and author of poetry and plays. She previously published a memoir titled “Where the Sun Don’t Shine and the Shadows Don’t Play.”

Frances’ advocacy for victims of child abuse and survivors of domestic violence, as well as her work teaching sustainable gardening practices to adults and youth, inspired her latest book for children entitled “A Saving Place”. Frances will be doing flower arranging demos. Participants will get to make their own arrangement.
