The Rotary Club of Alexandria

Our Heart embodies the essence of Rotary worldwide – to create community, to be fair to all concerned, and to put service above self. On the front, it shows our iconic Rotary clock located in the downtown mini-park, our Rotary coin celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2016, the Rotary wheel emblem and City Hall, where we currently meet every Tuesday for lunch.  The back features some of our projects – our Doll and Toy event, Service Above Self Award, our 4-way test, RYLA (our Youth Leadership Camp) and our Bridge Trophy awarded each year to either LSUA or LCU for most sports wins.  We chose the Bentley Hotel as the home for our Rotary heart because this is where our Rotary Club first met in 1916.
